Chelsea are the frontrunners in the race to sign Bournemouth central midfielder Alex Scott.
The 23-year-old playmaker has attracted immense continental interest following a series of standout performances for Marco Rose's side during the opening weeks of the campaign.
While Real Madrid have dispatched scouts to assess the midfielder's progress this week, Chelsea recruitment executives are actively preparing the groundwork to secure the England international.
Stamford Bridge officials view Scott's press resistance, vision, and dynamic ball-carrying ability as an ideal complement to their youthful midfield core.
Bournemouth are determined to resist winter approaches and hold out for a substantial valuation, but Chelsea are eager to establish an early agreement ahead of the January transfer window to prevent a bidding war with European heavyweights.
