Frank Lampard's high-flying Chelsea head to the London Stadium on Wednesday night to take on relegation battlers West Ham in the Premier League.

The Hammers are seeking their first league win since the restart and desperately need three points in their bid for survival. Three straight losses have seen David Moyes' side plummet down to 17th, only avoiding the drop zone on goal difference.

Recent Form

Pulisic has been in excellent form for Chelsea

West Ham are in poor form at the moment. The Hammers hosted Wolves in their first game back and were comfortably beaten 2-0 at the London Stadium, and lost by the same scoreline in their trip to Tottenham.

Chelsea have marked their return with three wins out of three. Lampard's side are looking relentless in their pursuit of Champions League football next season, beating Aston Villa 2-1 in their first game back, and have since managed impressive victories over Manchester City and Leicester.

Here's how both teams have fared in their last five outings.

West Ham

Tottenham 2-0 West Ham (23/6)
West Ham 0-2 Wolves (20/6)
Arsenal 1-0 West Ham (7/3)

Chelsea 2-1 Manchester City (25/6)
Aston Villa 1-2 Chelsea (21/6)
Chelsea 4-0 Everton (8/3)
Chelsea 2-0 Liverpool (3/3)

Prediction

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard

Chelsea have found West Ham to be a tough adversary of recent history. In their last five meetings, dating back to late 2017, Chelsea have won just once.

West Ham earned a hard fought win in the reverse fixture at Stamford Bridge back in November, with Aaron Cresswell's strike proving enough alongside some goalkeeping heroics from David Martin.

There seems to be something about Chelsea that gets West Ham firing on all cylinders. With the Hammers desperate for a victory, this could be the match where their luck finally turns.

Prediction: West Ham 1-0 Chelsea
