Vultures circle Stamford Bridge

The vultures are circulating around Stamford Bridge ready to pick off some of Chelsea's established stars.
There are still two games left of this season - away to Sunderland in the league and the FA Cup Final a week later.
But that has not stopped the rumours of an exodus from SW6.

Chelsea's only recognised left-back Ashley Cole is believed to be the target of Real Madrid.
Cole is in the running for the player of the year award - announced tonight -
and his exit would be a major embarrassment to the Blues who signed him in controversial circumstances from Arsenal.

The constant fear that Didier Drogba might be on his way to Italy - to AC Milan won't go away.

The latest duo apparently a target for Jose Mourinho's Inter Milan are Ricardo Carvalho and Mikel.
Michael Ballack is out of contract at the end of the season and can, if he can get someone to pay his wages - move on to pastures new.
Chelsea are in need of rebuilding, that's for sure - they have finished in their lowest position in the league since Roman Abramovich took over and were in danger of dropping out of Champions League contention in January.
Whoever is hired to replace Luiz Felipe Scolari on a permanent basis - Guus Hiddink was just a firefighter - will have a massive task.
The job description is narrow - win trophies, lower the average age of the squad and produce breathtaking football - all on a small budget.
Should be easy, eh?
