UEFA v Chelsea - more fun and mind games

Chelsea are going to be reported to UEFA for their pre-match media conference debacle yesterday.

Chelsea offered up fitness coach Rui Faria - he of the wool hat during the Munich first game last week.
Also on show was fringe striker Mikael Forssell.

Uefa will receive a report about their no-show of coach Jose Mourinho or normal stand-in Steve Clarke for the assembled media.

Wolfgang Eichler - Uefa's delegate said: "It is not ideal. I will have to report it to Uefa.
"Bayern's manager, captain Oliver Kahn and Owen Hargreaves were there but Chelsea did not even bother telling us who they intended putting up.
"The situation is very tense between Uefa and Mourinho.

"We cannot force Chelsea into anything as there is no punishment for this - but just look at the difference between the teams."

Chelsea will argue that all their staff are equal and therefore they were within their rights to bring in Faria and thus comply with their obligations.

Chelsea take a two goal advantage to the Olympic Stadium tonight.

The Blues won 4-2 at Stamford Bridge last week and are looking to enter the semi-finals of the Champions League for successive seasons.
