Well, what an unbelievable game we were treated to on Saturday evening!
The Champions League final is the biggest occasion in the football calendar, and Manchester City and Chelsea offered it the respect it deserves, putting on an absolute show for the millions of spectators.
It was Chelsea who triumphed on this incredible night of football, beating the Citizens 1-0 at the Estadio do Dragao to win the Champions League for the second time in their history, and condemn Pep Guardiola's men to another year without the illustrious trophy.
The game started at a frightening pace, with both sides threatening early on. Raheem Sterling raced in behind and forced Edouard Mendy into action, but it was Timo Werner who really got you foaming at the mouth.
The German first completely air-kicked when all he needed was a clean connection to slot home from six yards out, and then tamely trickled a shot towards goal unmarked from the same distance. Yikes.
It must have been a pretty frustrating watch for Tuchel and the bench...
Fortunately for Chelsea, there was another German who knew where the goal was. Kai Havertz was picked out by a gorgeous Mason Mount through ball, rounded Ederson and rolled home to give the Blues a massive lead just before the break.
In typical meme fashion, Guardiola reacted by frantically swigging on a bottle of water, while having the glint in his eye of a man ready to undergo a hair transplant with the sole purpose of having something to tear out.
Safe to say, some of us were unconvinced by his setup.
Both managers were feeling the magnitude of the occasion, to be fair.
The referee played a big part in the first 15 minutes of the second half, first helping up Antonio Rudiger only to book him, and then turning down some huge handball appeals from the Man City players.
Thiago Silva had already suffered the heartache of being substituted through injury, but Kevin De Bruyne endured the same fate, clattering into Rudiger and taking a nasty blow to the head. The poor bloke was in a bad way.
N'Golo Kante bossed the centre of the park from start to finish, and went home with heavy pockets, carrying the entire Man City midfield in his shorts.
The Citizens couldn't get near Chelsea over the 90 minutes, who kept their opponents at arm's length with frightening ease. Christian Pulisic had the chance to wrap it up, but he fired wide, much to the disbelief of Tuchel.
But Chelsea held on to clinch the prestigious Champions League trophy and spark wild celebrations, while Man City's stars were left in tears, wondering when this opportunity would roll round again.
For Sergio Aguero, that chance will never resurface.
Congratulations, Chelsea!
