As predicted on Chelsea-mad yesterday, John Terry has pulled out of the England squad for Wednesday night's international friendly against Holland.

Terry left Stamford Bridge on Sunday evening afer the bruising 0-0 draw with Manchester City, limping and with a strap on his leg.

Bridge is believed to have a thigh problem and also pulled out of the squad.

Both are expected to be available for the Premiership match, on Saturday, against Everton at Goodison Park.

Frank Lampard, Glen Johnson and Joe Cole have joined up with the England party.
