Terry – All Set For Return

Last updated : 24 September 2002 By -

As reported previously on Chelsea Mad, John Terry has been working tirelessly for a number of weeks now in the hope of overcoming a knee injury sustained whilst watching a Tim Henman match in the canteen of the club’s training ground.

A return to first team training this week suggests that John has overcome all problems and niggles associated with the knee and is now close to a return to full fitness.

Speaking to your very own Chelsea Mad reporter Steve Furlong on Thursday evening, John confirmed that a return to the reserves against Arsenal this Thursday (25th) was his first step to a possible return to the first team.

With all going well and John so keen to impress, he is hoping to be available for selection for Chelsea's next first team home game against West Ham this Saturday.

You can’t keep a good man down!
