Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham has seen talks over a new contract extension at the club stall over the last few months due to a disagreement over wages.
The 22-year-old has been Chelsea's star player this season, scoring 14 goals across all competitions to help the club go into the new year with a four points within the Premier League's top four.
Chelsea have been looking to extend Abraham's contract ever since new manager Frank Lampard took over during the summer, but Goal claim talks between the two parties have been dragging on for months without any sign of a solution.
It's reported that Abraham is looking to earn a similar deal that 19-year-old teammate Callum Hudson-Odoi signed in September - which is worth up to £120k a week.
Both Abraham and Chelsea's negotiators believe that the England international deserves a hefty pay rise at Stamford Bridge, but there is still little sign that either side will compromise in an attempt to find middle ground.
The former Aston Villa loanee still has a contract with the club until 2022 and there's no suggestion that Abraham could be on his way out of the club if an agreement can't be reached over his new deal, but Chelsea are still being linked with a host of new attacking players as a result of their transfer ban being lifted.

There hasn't been any progress with Abraham's new deal but, on top of Hudson-Odoi's extension, Chelsea have already wrapped up extensions for homegrown stars
