Chelsea assistant manager Rui Faria has been given a six-match stadium ban after his less than edifying reaction to a penalty decision that went against the Blues during the home  match against Sunderland which Chelsea lost 2-1.

Faria was sent off by referee Mike Dean at Stamford Bridge on April 19.

He was subsequently sent off and later admitted two charges of misconduct.

Faria, who has the right to appeal, has also been fined £30,000.

His ban by the FA means he won't be sitting on the bench with Jose Mourinho on Sunday at the Bridge against Norwich Ciry and the final match of the season away to Cardiff City and the first four domestic fixtures next season.
