Arjen Robben will miss the Carling Cup final on February 27 says Blues boss Jose Mourinho.
Robben, who scored the only goal last night against Blackburn Rovers will undergo a scan on his left foot today to determine the full extent of the injury.
However Mourinho has already thrown doubt on the Dutch winger's availability to face Liverpool in the Millennium Stadium.
Mourinho said: "It's a big injury and he might miss the Carling Cup final. But we do have other players.
"You could see what happened to him after he scored. He's special, maybe that's why they had to target him."
Chelsea moved 11 points clear of second place Manchester United following their Premiership victory at Ewood Park.
