New Crespo Bid?!?!

Firstly, Inter president Massimo Moretti said "First and foremost, we look out for the interests of our players and of the club. If there is an offer, we are willing to evaluate it.

"We have not offered to sell our players, but we're willing to listen to the clubs who are interested in our players."

And then Fernando Hidalgo, Crespo's agent, revealed "They could make an offer for Hernan after Argentina's match on Wednesday against Uruguay.

"Crespo's future is still uncertain. The player and Inter Milan will have to take a decision if Chelsea make an offer.

"The player will not discuss this matter until there is a firm offer."

It is worth noting that Fernando Hidalgo also represents Juan Seba Veron- a player who also, initially, had no interest in signing for Chelsea. And the next story today suggests that a bid could be on the cards...
