Mutu To Sign!!

Romanian internaional Mutu has barely been talked about as a potential signing, yet here we are with a deal that is done.

The official word from Chelsea is as follows: "Chelsea and Italian club Parma have today agreed a fee for Romanian international striker Adrian Mutu. Discussions will now take place between Chelsea and the player over the proposed transfer."

Parma 's take of events seem to be a bit further along the line. The claim that Mutu is a Chelsea player already. They told PA Sport "Parma have announced the definitive transfer of their Romanian forward Adrian Mutu to Chelsea."

The fee is reported to be £15.8 million, taking Roman Abramovich's spending to the £75 million mark.

Mutu had a great year in Serie A last year, scoring 17 goals. And, better yet, he is only 24 years old.
