After the PFA met with Mutu yesterday, a statement has been released by PFA chief Gordon Taylor, saying: "He will not be going ahead with the second test. He has tested positive for cocaine.

"There will be a hearing at the Football Association, which we hope can be held as quickly as possible to get the matter dealt with."

And Mutu's agent Gica Popescu said "Mutu is destroyed. I told him to assume full responsibility for his actions but he seemed not to understand."

However, after meeting with Peter Kenyon last night, Mutu now seems to be taking it on the chin... rather than up the nose!
