Macho Norwich Trial

Jurgen joined from Sunderland last summer on a Bosman, but suffered an horrific knee injury within weeks of signing. He spent the whole of last season recuperating and it was widely thought amongst Chelsea fans that he would be our third keeper this season.

However, Jose Mourinho appears to favour Marco Ambrosio, having seen what the Italian stopper could do when he came in for the injured Carlo Cudicini last season.

Macho told the Norwich Evening News: "It was very frustrating (last season). I'm just pleased to be here and to get back as soon as possible to doing some real training again.

"I've spoken to one or two people and they say that Norwich is a good club with good support and a very good manager. Hopefully in this week I will get a few more impressions of what the club's like and what the players are like and we'll just go from there."

Chelsea Mad would like to wish Jurgen all the best for his trial at Norwich.
