Lampard: "I Am Settled At Chelsea"

With Chelsea set to face West Ham this weekend, it is likely that Frank Lampard will risk the wrath of the hammers supporters following comments today that he was never quite happy at Upton Park.

The 24-year-old midfielder was born into a family of hammers with his father Frank and uncle Harry Rednapp, both heavily involved with the club.

However, following the dismissal of both his father and uncle, Chelsea were quick to take advantage of the situation and brought the West Ham star across London to Stamford Bridge for a fee of £11m.

Speaking today, Frank stated that only now since being at Chelsea, does he finally feel settled.

He said: "I grew up supporting West Ham and there was the family thing, but, looking back, I never felt 100% there.

"It's nothing I can put my finger on. I didn't think any differently at the time, but since I have been at Chelsea I've realised I'm settled as a player.

"I want to stay here and really impose myself as a Chelsea player - I would be happy to stay for good."
