Jose Goads Fergie

Jose and Fergie had a much publicised falling out last season after Mourinho's Porto side knocked United out of the Champions League in the second round. Mourinho struck another blow to Fergie as he led Chelsea to victory over United on the opening day of the season.

And now, he is putting yet more pressure on the red faced one ahead of what is sure to be one of the games of the season on Sunday. Arsenal visit Old Trafford, bidding to go 50 games unbeaten! And to think that some people think that the fixture list isn't, well, fixed!

Jose said: "Last season was not the best for them, they did not win the Premiership or reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

"This season they have started off with a lot of problems, injured players and the suspension of Rio.

"But now he is back, Rooney is there too, there are not many injuries, Saha is about to come back.

"When I look at their firepower, with Ruud van Nistelrooy, Smith and Giggs too, it is amazing, much more than we have and more than what Arsenal have.

"At this moment, they can look to the future and think they can go there.

As for Sunday's game: "It is a crucial game. "If they [United] lose, then it is goodbye Arsenal, but if they win, they are there.

"I think they have a lot of power and conditions to join us in the fight for the top position."
