Chelsea have developed a bit of a reputation for loaning out footballers, regularly using the system to send players far and wide in search of regular game time.
However, now that Frank Lampard is in charge with his clear preference for fielding youngsters, current loanees may be given more of a chance when they return to west London.
As Chelsea continue to grow under the former Derby manager, let's see which of them have a shot at ever featuring in the starting eleven at Stamford Bridge.
10. Lucas Piazon
Somehow, this guy is still officially a Chelsea player.
The Brazilian has been at the club since 2012, yet during his time at the Blues he's constantly been on the move - appearing at seven different clubs including:
Likelihood of Making it at Chelsea: 0/10
9. Danny Drinkwater
It's hard to believe Chelsea forked out £35m for Drinkwater as the midfielder has hardly made a splash at the Blues.
In the 2018/19 season, the former Leicester man failed to impress manager Maurizio Sarri and didn't make a single league appearance before being loaned out to Burnley at the start of the following campaign.
Unable to cut it at Aston Villa too, it seems that his Chelsea career is unlikely to be rebooted especially as he's now hit the age of 30, so they will almost certainly move him on elsewhere.
Likelihood of Making it at Chelsea: 1/10
8. Ike Ugbo
The 21-year-old signed for Chelsea when he was a young boy and impressed at the youth level's before securing a loan move to Barnsley in 2017.
Since then, he's also featured at MK Dons, Scunthorpe United and Roda JC in the Dutch second tier where he's performed slightly better - but then again, it is the Dutch second tier.
Unless all of Chelsea's current strikers magically disappear, then you'll probably not see Ugbo line up in a Premier League game for the Blues.
Likelihood of Making it at Chelsea: 1/10
7. Baba Rahman
Unlike certain others, when the Ghanaian left-back joined in 2015 he actually received playing time for a year.
This didn't last long though as since 2016 he's been on loan at various clubs in Europe including Real Mallorca in Spain.
There's a slim chance Rahman could return as left-backs Emerson Palmieri and Marcos Alonso have been linked with moves away and club captain Cesar Azpilicueta isn't directly suited to the role.
Don't hold your breath, though.
Likelihood of Making it at Chelsea:
6. Matt Miazga
A giant in defence, the American man-mountain has played in the Netherlands, France and most recently Reading since joining the Blues in 2015.
He has been solid at centre-half and has helped keep the Royals in the Championship
At Chelsea, there is a slight uncertainty on who's going to be Antonio Rudiger's long-term defensive partner and Miazga could oust the likes of Zouma, Tomori and Christensen if he continues to impress. Seems very unlikely, though.
Likelihood of Making it at Chelsea: 2/10
5. Kenedy
A Brazilian winger-cum-wing-back with silky dribbling skills? Surely he must be good? Sadly not, no.
The 24-year-old was brought to England from Fluminense in 2015 by José Mourinho and surprisingly scored the fastest goal of the Premier League season - a 39th second effort against Norwich. That's about it though.
For the last four years, he's been on loan at Watford, Newcastle and Getafe where he has been unable to kickon but has gained experience at top-flight clubs. If given some time at Chelsea he may yet be able to produce some Brazilian magic.
Likelihood of Making it at Chelsea: 3/10
4. Tiemoue Bakayoko

After impressing in Monaco's 2016/2017 Champions League run to the semi-finals, the Blues swooped in and purchased the defensive midfielder for £40m.
In his debut season, he failed to impress at Chelsea and has the option of making his loan move permanent at former club Monaco.
Chelsea have great depth in midfield so it's hard to see the Frenchman getting any game time, but Bakayoko is still fairly young and it would mean Blues fans could bring back the irresistibly catchy 'Bakayoko/Kanté' chant to the tune of September by Earth, Wind & Fire.
Likelihood of Making it at Chelsea: 4/10
3. Victor Moses
It's easy to forget that this guy excelled in Chelsea's 2016/17 title win where he played at right wing-back in Antonio Conte's successful 3-4-3 formation.
His Blues career has somewhat spiralled downwards since then, although he has joined Con
With Reece James recently cementing the right-back position, Moses may struggle for starts but if Lampard can utilise three at the back more regularly then the Nigerian could force his way back into the team again perhaps.
Likelihood of Making it at Chelsea: 4/10
2. Nathan Baxter
We headed north of the border in episode two of 'Life on Loan'! gbsct Follow Nathan Baxter's story as he chases his dream to play for Chelsea!

Frank Lampard faces a small goalkeeping crisis at the moment after he lost faith in record signing Kepa Arrizabalaga and has 38-year-old Willy Caballero as his back up keeper.
Likelihood of Making it at Chelsea: 5/10
1. Ethan Ampadu
Look. At. That. Hair. Sadly, the Welshman has cut his incredible dreadlocks since joining RB Leipzig in the summer.
Making a few appearances here and there, the high-profile loanee has struggled for regular game time in Germany but his ability is known in England and Wales. He can play in defence or also as a defensive midfielder too, giving himself an even bigger chance to stake his place in the team.
Likelihood of Making it at Chelsea: 9/10
