Geremi Happy With Life At Chelsea

Whilst Geremi has hardly set Stamford Bridge alight since his summer move from Real Madrid, he has been a solid performer. And his versatility has proved vital at times this season when we have been short of midfielders.

Speculation was rife that the Cameroonian could be on his way out at Stamford Bridge after Middlesbrough manager Steve McLaren revealed that he wanted to bring Geremi back to the club. Boro lost out to Chelsea for Geremi's signature in the summer, despite the player spending the whole of last season on loan at Boro.

But Barry Silkman, Geremi's agent, says that he is going nowhere: "Geremi is very happy with life at Chelsea. He intends to stay and see out his contract.

"The only way he would leave is if Chelsea told him that they want him to go - and they have not done that and so he will remain at Chelsea."
