Gavin Peacock’s testimonial today will be preceded by a celebrity match kicking off at 6pm.
The main game is QPR v Chelsea, and the only players definitely out for Chelsea are Frank Lampard and John Terry (away with England), Carlton Cole (away with England Under 21s), and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Emmanuel Petit (injured).
Guesting for Gavin will be Dennis Wise, Ray Wilkins, Glenn Hoddle, Paul Parker, Les Ferdinand and Danny Maddix.
For the celebrity game, Dean Gaffney who is Robbie in EastEnders will be joined by a couple more from the cast. There’ll be Mickey Ambrose and Gary Lucy from Footballers’ Wives, Ralph Little from Royal Family and Colin Salmon from the James Bond movies.
Simon and Anthony from Blue will lead the musical contingent. So Solid Crew’s Harvey, 3rd Edge, 3SL and Top Of The Pops presenter Richard Blackwood are all turning out.
At least one Chelsea old boy, Clive Walker, will be playing too.
