Gallas "Disappointed" With United Result

Despite having the better of the play, the Blues left Old Trafford empty handed as Diego Forlan scored an 80th minute winner.

Gallas, as usual, was superb alongside John Terry, as the defence held United to only a few opportunities.

He certainly didn't deserve to finish the match a loser yet that's football sometimes.

Gallas said, "It was a hard pill to swallow as we had the means of getting a good result at Old Trafford.

"We played very good football, in my mind better than Manchester United did, but that's football.

"Dominating does not necessarily mean winning, but I'm not going to hide the fact I was very disappointed."

Marcel Desailly should return at the heart of the defence alongside Gallas against Aston Villa, although Gallas has been suffering from back and calf problems this week.
