FIFPro have unveiled their 23-player shortlists for their annual world XI selection, with Liverpool's Mohamed Salah the highest profile omission on the men's list.
Ten Premier League players are in contention, with European champions Chelsea having four players nominated - Edouard Mendy, Jorginho, N'Golo Kante and Romelu Lukaku.
Man Utd have Portuguese duo Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes on the shortlist, while Kevin De Bruyne and Ruben Dias from rivals Man City have been nominated.
All three of Paris Saint-Germain's star forwards - Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar - are on the list.
Seven WSL players are on the shortlist for the women's World XI, including five players from Man City - more than any other club.
Both lineups will be announced at the Best FIFA Football Awards on January 17, 2022.
