Editor accused of £100,000 'bung'

Evil Chelsea-mad editor Paul Lagan is today accused of bringing the game of footy into disrepute and they have accused him of taking a 'bung'.

Paul Lagan, 47, and a father of two, is today accused of accepting £100,000 from footymad for bunging (geddit?) spurious stories on their top-class website www.chelsea-mad.co.uk in order to increase page hits by a factor of 2.

An undercover investigation revealed the sordid world the likes of Lagan and other 'editors' inhabit.

By day, they are gentle Clark Kent type journalists - by night and sometimes even as late at 10pm, they enter another shady world, where fact and fiction are 'mutually inclusive'.

Lagan said on camera in last night's TV 'expose': "It's true, I admit it all, I did put that story up about Carlton Cole going to Spurs - but it was a result of a £100,000 backhander from footymad - it's their fault, honest guv, I never in the world could believe a time when Cole would go to them - It was West Ham Utd reserves all the way as far as I was concerned."
Footymad stated that they would check Lagan's IQ and book him into the nearest rest home for burnt out hacks.
"It's with some regret that Mr Lagan has made these statements and footymad would never 'bung' any of their editors £100,000 - in fact, we sometimes don't bother to pay them anything at all.
"The matter is in the hands of our canteen manger and she is preparing a full fruit flan with all the evidence."
