David Moyes has insisted that Declan Rice is no longer available for £100m amid reports linking Chelsea and Man Utd with a move for the West Ham star.
Rice has been one of the in-form players in the Premier League this season, with his performances leading to interest from some of the top clubs in the division.
Back in November, 90min revealed that long-time admirers Man City were leading the race for his signature, while Chelsea and Man Utd have been linked too.
Speaking to the press ahead of West Ham's clash with Kidderminster in the FA Cup, Moyes revealed that those interested have missed their chance to sign Rice for the 'sale' price of £100m and will have to fork out a lot more to prise the midfielder away from the London Stadium.
"I said in the summer that I thought Declan Rice was £100m. That was the sales, that was cheap, that was your chance to get Declan Rice cheap."
90min understands that West Ham would consider a bid in the region of £120m, which would make Rice the most expensive British player of all time.
Moyes also praised the former England international as one of the best players he has ever coached.
"Declan Rice is right up with some of the best players I've certainly had. It's his potential as well to get better because of his age. There's a potential for him to improve and mature better because of his age.
"He’s under contract and we’re really pleased to have him. He’s like a special edition Declan Rice, there’s not many like him. For me, he’s arguably playing as well as any midfielder player in European football.
"Special edition means that there are very few people like him out there. It's like buying something that there aren't many of them. He is a special, special edition, a special player and for me he is probably the best midfield player in Europe at this present time."
