Crespo Vows To Improve

Despite scoring six goals in nine Premiership appearances, Hernan is adamant that we have yet to see the best from him. And, having seen him play in Italy, I couldn't agree with him more!

"It has not been easy to settle just yet," he said.

"There is the problem of the language, which I have to overcome. I have had a little injury - and don't forget I have been back to Argentina twice already for internationals. All of those things have not helped.

"I am back for a long time and I think I can settle down more in the team and also living in England," he added.

"The way the team is playing has helped, and also the spirit of the team. There are a lot of changes going on, both professionally and personally, and things are slowly gelling.

"It will take time to understand all of my colleagues. At the moment I am reasonably pleased with my form and my goalscoring, but I know that can improve.

"I have always felt that I can score goals. Even last season when I missed three months with injury I became Inter's highest-ever scorer in a Champions League season. I want to bring that to Chelsea.

"If we remain calm about the situation then anything is possible. I say that we can make history and I want to be part of that."
