Costa scores as Cesc makes debut

Diego Costa netted his first of what fans hope will be many goals this season in the 2-1 win over Olimpija Ljubljana in Slovenia today.

Also in the starting line-up was ex-Arsenal star Cesc Fabregas who set up his Spanish international team mate for his goal.

Kurt Zouma scored the winner after the Blues went behind.

These conditioning matches step up a gear now as Chelsea head to Holland for the second week of their pre-season training camp.

Didier Drogba is expected to join up next week along with all the remaining World Cup absentees.
