Joe was the hero for Chelsea on Saturday as we narrowly defeated Birmingham City 1-0. His deflected goal came just minutes after he was introduced as a second half substitute.

And Joe revealed "The manager told me to try and keep the ball for us, slow it down and if I had the chance to go one-on-one to take it.

"When I look in to the manager's eyes I can see he has faith in me and at times before I have not felt that.

"I trust the manager and would like to get a run of games and play in my position which I haven't done so far in my career."

If Joey keeps on scoring, he'll keep on playing!
