Classless Chelsea can't handle criticism

Poor old Chelsea. They have a clueless attitude when it come to public relations.
I don't know how much Roman speaks or understands English, but if any of this unedifiying spectacle surrounding Gallas gets back to him, he should be furious with Kenyon and co.
Chelsea should not be lambasting a former player like this.
Had they offered him the contract he felt he deserved, none of this would have happened.
They could have got another year out of him, secured a potentially dodgy defence and stoppped Arsenal from having one of our best players.
They then could have quietly farmed him off next year to Milan - end of story..
But no, not the knee-yerking paraniod Kenyon.
Presumably his director of communications wrote the 'Statement from Chelsea' on their website.
These people have the almost impossible job of trying to promote brand Chelsea around the world.
Taking up their valuable time in this farce is not good for the business.
I suspect Roman, having got a handle on the football side of things, will start turning his attention to the non-footballing side and will demand from Kenyon just why Chelsea are becoming the club everyone in the world just loves to hate.

Show some class, Kenyon before Roman shows you the door...
