Chelsea's name has once again been mentioned in the same sentence as that of RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner, as the January transfer window approaches.
Since the Blues' transfer ban was lifted by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in early December, the club has been linked with some of the biggest names across Europe.
In addition, manager Frank Lampard has suggested the club will hunt for a successor to former talisman Eden Hazard.

One name that has come up repeatedly is that of Werner. T
The report suggests Manchester United, Liverpool and Bayern Munich all harbour an interest in the player, but Chelsea are ready to make a move in January as they prepare to embark upon a £150m spending spree - a budget that was first suggested back in November.
Werner is leading the line for a Leipzig side that is top of the Bundesliga at Christmas, two points clear of Borussia Monchengladbach and four points clear of Bayern - objectively the biggest threat to their title push.
Leipzig have also ridiculed the chances of a move on their official Twitter account, responding to a Chelsea fan who suggested the move was on.
