Chelsea stars shine in England defeat

Shaun Wright-Phillips was man of the match against Germany last night as Chelsea stars took the plaudits in an otherwise lamentable England performance.
England eventually lost to an average Germany side by two goals to one.
SWP came on as sub for Blues teammate Joe Cole and lit up the vast arena with his dazling dribbling and quicksilver speed.
He was ably supported by skipper John Terry who was unlucky not to score from a corner and Frank Lamaprd who silenced the boo boys with a sublime strike to put England 1-0 up after nine minutes.

The least effect of the Chelsea four was Joe Cole, but that is as much to do with a lack of match practice than it does about his ability.
Joe has yet to start a game for the Stamford Bridge outfit this season.
It's back to the Premiership this weekend with a match against Portsmouth at home.
Should Chelsea remain undefeated it will increase their record-breaking unbeaten home league record but also be a personal milestone for Jose Mourinho who will remain undefeated as a manager at home for the 100th time in a row.

Oh! and Arjen Robben's gone to Real Madrid for £21m..cheers, Arjen thanks for everything.
