Chelsea predicted lineup vs Arsenal - Premier League

Chelsea will look to boost their top-four hopes and simultaneously crush Arsenal's when the two London rivals butt heads on Wednesday night.

The Blues booked their place in the FA Cup final last time out by seeing off Crystal Palace and, while frustrated with exiting the Champions League, will be feeling good about their outstanding performance at the Santiago Bernabeu as they beat Real Madrid 3-2.

Here's how Thomas Tuchel could set up as he seeks to do the double over Arsenal this season.

1. Goalkeeper & defenders

Edouard Mendy (GK) - The obvious starter. Bagged his 20th clean sheet of the season against Palace.

Trevoh Chalobah (CB) - We haven't seen Chalobah since the 2-1 win over Lille so it's about time he returns to the team.

Thiago Silva (CB) - Rested for most of the Palace game, Silva's legs should be fine for this one.

Antonio Rudiger (CB) - Rudiger is always going to start when healthy. Probably needs to stop shooting from 40 yards, though.

2. Wing-backs & midfielders

Reece James (RWB) - Scored when the two teams met earlier this season and is in a good run of form right now.

N'Golo Kante (CM) - Kante hasn't been at his best but enjoyed a rest against Palace so can hopefully get things going again.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek (CM) - Mateo Kovacic is out injured and Jorginho had a real struggle against Palace. Loftus-Cheek, on the other hand, scored off the bench.

Marcos Alonso (LWB) - Alonso could start every game between now and the end of the season, with Malang Sarr filling in when possible.

3. Forwards

Kai Havertz (RF) - Havertz has been superb in recent weeks and surely has to start a game of this magnitude.

Timo Werner (ST) - Could start in a central role against Arsenal's high line. Enjoying a nice run of form right now.

Mason Mount (LF) - The first name on the team sheet these days. 26 goals involvements this season.
