Chelsea blow Robinho deal...Kenyon humbled

Peter Kenyon has blown his reputation wide open by losing out on Robinho.
Manchester City have nabbed the Brazilian winger from Real Madrid in a £34m deal late-night deal.
Chelsea bullishly stated this week that they would sign the player, Scolari believes would make the difference to his side.
Kenyon, himself said that he was confident he would get the player but it might go to the wire.
Now it seems that megabucks City, who took Shaun Wright-Phillips on a cut-price deal from Chelsea this week have rubbed salt into Abramovich and Kenyon's wounds by taking their No1 summer target also.
This will be a sombering and humbling experience for the Chelsea top brass who's apparent arogance by offering Robinho Chelsea shirts so offended Real Madrid.
As soon as City reavealed new owners and new money, Madrid were happy to offload the player who whinged what he wanted out of Spain and wanted to join Chelsea.
Now the player has joined the Sky Blues and will face Chelsea on September 13 for his City debut at Eastlands.
