Bosy Tests Positive?

If these reports are to be believed then Mark Bosnich's goalkeeping career could have just come to a premature end. Chelsea have already suspended him and he will surely be sacked after this.

Perhaps the club would have stuck by him if he weren't on £40,000 a week? Who knows...

Anyway, the FA will take action against Bosnich if he has tested positive for cocaine but they are keeping their mouths shut for the time being so we will just have to wait and see.

Although the rumours have yet to be confirmed, I have to say that Bosnich has wasted his career- without the drug test!

Having made a name for himself at Villa he fell out of favour there before joining Man United on a bosman. But within his first few months at Old Trafford, it was obvious that he was a board signing, rather than Alex Ferguson's and he would join Chelsea in January 2001.

Again, this seemed like a board signing (Bates getting one over United!) as Ranieri didn't use him until we were down to the bare bones last season. And with Cudicini in such fine form Bosnich was forced out of the picture.

What a terrible waste. For someone so talented to do something so stupid isn't surprising though- everyone makes mistake. Unfortunately, it looks like being one mistake too many for Bosnich...
