However, more positively today, reports are circulating that suggest that Bolton’s boss Sam Allardyce is keen to talk to the Australian over a proposed move to the Reebok come the January transfer window.
According to the Daily Mirror newspaper, any deal would see Bosnich join until the end of the season.
Allardyce has targeted the Australian as a key figure in keeping his side in the top-flight next season and Chelsea are said to be keen to off-load Bosnich, who is believed to be on a £40,000-a-week contract.
