Player Ratings: Bolton (h)

Carlo Cudicini- No chance for either goal, and didn't actually have very much to do all afternoon. 6

Glen Johnson- Glen certainly has got skills to pay the bills but he has forgotten how to do the simple things. Kept on trying to do too much in the attacking third of the pitch, didn't do enough in the defensive third! 5

Marcel Desailly- Same old story with Marcel. Solid as a rock 90% of the time, casual for the other 10%. Unforunately the turning point in the match came when Marcy was having one of his casual moments and allowed Bruno N'Gotty to head home the equaliser. 6

John Terry- What a sickener for JT! He was outstanding for the whole game but the records will show that it was his own goal that lost it for us. Nothing he could do about the own goal (if anyone to blame it was Johnson) and he also played a big part in our goal at the right end of the pitch. 7

Wayne Bridge- Good showing by Bridge, who seems to be getting better every time I see him play. Defensively he still looks a tad shaky but he links up very well with Duff down the left flank. 7

Jesper Gronkjaer- Send in some dangerous crosses but, ultimately, it was a poor performance by the Dane. Didn't seem his usual, troublesome, self- perhaps due to the Besiktas game, where he ran his heart out. 6

Claude Makelele- Too many mis-placed passes, looked tired. 6

Frank Lampard- Same as Maka! Unfortunately for us this season, when Lamps doesn't perform nor do we. Was also substituted for, seemingly, the first time ever in a Chelsea shirt! 6

Damien Duff- One of the few players to do himself justice. Always looked a threat and his free role allowed him to roam- making life most uncomfortable for the Bolton defence. 8

Hernan Crespo- Took his goal well. Saying that, I think my Grandma could have taken that goal well. Other than that, did little else. Despite his goal tally this season, I still think he is struggling to adapt to the Premiership and we certainly haven't seen the best of him. 6

Adrian Mutu- Ran all day long, but tried to do too much. And still without a goal since Everton! 6
