Zola scored 'fantasy goal'
Ranieri described Zola as a "wizard" after he produced an extraordinary back-flick from a corner to help Chelsea on their way to a fourth round tie with West Ham.

He said: "That was a fantasy goal, it was magic. Only fantastic players like Maradona and Pele could have scored a goal like that.

"I'm very happy for Gianfranco and when he is happy, he can score these goals. He tries things like that all the time as he is a wizard

"He is very intelligent. He suffered earlier this season but knew that he was still very important for Chelsea and his team-mates."

Zola, who had been out of the starting line-up for six weeks before returning in the 0-0 draw at Carrow Road, admitted he had acted purely out of instinct when Le Saux's corner came to him 18 minutes into the second half.

"Don't ask me how I did it as I honestly don't know," he admitted with a wide grin.

"Sometimes things just happen through instinct and it was instinct that told me to move to the near post. Graeme says he saw me there and I'm willing to believe him!

"I can't do anything with my left, so I crossed my legs and hit it with the right.

"I have tried it before but I'm not telling you what happened. I certainly haven't ever scored a goal like it. You have to try crazy things to make them come true."
