The boys are back in town

The summer holidays are over for players and they will start to arrive at the Cobham training ground in their flash cars ready to go to work.
Of course there will be the notable absentees - those involved in the later stages of Euro 2008.
But for the likes of Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba, it will be a time for either bagging the best pegs in the changing room or dilly-dalling around before saying their goodbyes.
Either way some of those turning up today won't be turning out in Chelsea Blue this season.
Steve Sidwell will be put out of his misery later this week when he signs for Aston Villa. The hold-up is that Villa are trying to screw as much money out of Liverpool as possible for Gareth Barry.
A few loanees have moved out to Norwich, Sheffield Wednesday and Portsmouth already.
Luiz the boss will have his first training session with the players and it's bound to be an intense time.
Will Kaka be joining from AC Milan this week?
Well if reports of an astronomical fee for him by Chelsea are correct, then the Brazilian will at least be able to chat to Scolari in his native language.
Quite another question is what will be the dominant language in the changing room.
One wag has let slip to me that John Terry and all the English-speaking boys are going to be given mandatory Portuguese lessons so they can understand Scolari.

I don't think this is the case but, if it was true, then I expect the players will be listening to Portuguese Made Simple classes on their iPods and assorted Mp3 players inbetween football lessons.
What do you think. Should JT, Lamps and the rest learn Portuguese?
