Stoch not strong enough for Premier League

As all regular Chelsea-Mad followers know, we exclusively revealed some time ago that Miroslav Stoch would never again wear the Blue of Chelsea.

He made a total of five appearances without a goal to his name.

So it was of no great surprise that Chelsea "confirmed" that the Slovakian striker will not be returning from his season-long loan spell at FC Twente, where, managed by Steve McClaren, he and the club won its first Dutch championship.

Stoch scored  12 goals in 44+1 games.

The boy heads off to Turkey with a four-year deal with Fenerbahce under his belt.

We revealed that Chelsea coach Carlo Ancelotti ran the rule over Stoch very early in his reign at SW6 and concluded quickly that Stoch would not develop physically enough for the Premier League and thus instantly became surplus to his requirements.

Chelsea did very well to get any kind of fee for him as a result which presumably is reflected in the fee not being disclosed.

Stoch, 20 will play for his country in the World Cup.
