Seba Out Until April

Veron's last appearance for Chelsea came in the 5-0 win against Newcastle at the start of November. That was only his 11th appearance for the club after his £15million move from Man Yoo last summer.

The problem was initially detected whilst Seba was on international duty with Argentina. A decision was then made to rest the injury to see if that would cure it.

Unfortunately, that has not been the case. He suffered a setback with the injury earlier this month and a decision was made to send him to Argentina for surgery.

The surgery was actually on a herniated disc - this is where a ruptured disc in the spine presses down on the nerves causing some discomfort.

Seba has now targetted the Man Yoo game at Old Trafford in May for his comeback. We here at Chelsea Mad would like to wish Seba a speedy recovery- if he comes back anything like the player he was at Lazio, then it will be worth the wait!
