Sahar off to Pompey

Ben Sahar has joined Portsmouth on loan for the season.
The 18-year-old striker has failed to make the grade so far having only played three first team games.
He has been farmed out to QPR and Sheffield Wednesday recently.
Moving up to a Premier League club shows that Chelsea still have high hopes for the hitman, but this will almost certainly be a make-or-break season for him.

Others waiting to exit Chelsea are Steve Sidwell to Aston Villa. He is hanging on for Gareth Barry to sort out his move to Liverpool before heading up to the Midlands.

Richardo Carvalho is reported to be off to Inter Milan, while Jose Mourinho is playing mind games with Chelsea's Peter Kenyon suggesting that Frank Lampard will not join him in Italy this summer but will run down his contract which has a year to go and sign for Inter next year for nothing.
This of course will cost Chelsea £7m in lost transfer fee for their talisman midfielder.
