Last updated : 01 November 2016 By DSG

October has been a fantastic month with goals aplenty and some sensational performances from established names as well as the new kids on the block

Voting is now open and let's take a look at the players nominated for this months shortlist.

Eden Hazard (Chelsea)

The in-form Chelsea winger has overcome what must go down as a disappointing 2015-16 and has already scored more goals than the whole of last season after Match Week 10

Hazard was named man of the match against Manchester United and Southampton

Three goals and an assist round off a great October for the 25-year-old midfielder.

Theo Walcott (Arsenal)

Three goals and an assist in October matches the contribution than Hazard has made at Chelsea in October for the 27-year-old Englishman

The player looked like he may have an uncertain future in the summer but he has proved all of the doubters wrong with his resurgence and renewed confidence

Walcott has also earned an England recall.

Dele Alli (Tottenham)

The 20-year-old Spurs playmaker has scored twice in October and was named man of the match in the draw away at West Brom

Alli has cemented a role in the England squad due to his superb ball skills and particular strength in interceptions and tackling.

Charlie Austin (Southampton)

The Saints number 10 has scored twice in October and five times overall this season, vindicating the clubs decision to take a chance on Austin during the January transfer window at the start of the year

The 27-year-old from Hungerford is having a superb start to life at St Mary's

Callum Wilson (Bournemouth)

The 24-year-old forward has scored twice in October and has been tipped for an England call-up

The hard-working player insists the quality of the whole teams performance is more important to him than scoring goals.

Joe Allen (Stoke City)

The 26-year-old midfielder has had a brilliant start to life at Stoke

In October the player scored three goals and provided two assists as well as being named man of the match against Sunderland and Swansea.
