Now Ballack is injured

Michael Ballack is the latest injury causalty to befall Chelsea players this week.

The German captain is out of action for his country's match against the Ivory Coast tomorrow night.

He has ia problem with a knee and is not being risked.

Ballack joins, Ashley Cole, Frank Lampard, John Terry and Didier Drogba on the sick list in what is becoming an injury crisis at SW6.

Chelsea are already without long-term injury victim Jose Bosingwa.

Nicolas Anelka will play for France tomorrow in a tense World-Cup qulification decider along with winger Florent Malouda.

Chelsea cannot afford to see these two or anymore players return to training on Thursday injured.

The Blues are top of the Premier League and face Wolves on Saturday at 3pm.
