Nice to play QPR again

So tomorrow that fiecest of local derbies rears it's ugly head again as Chelsea take on QPR at Stamford Bridge.
Okay, so it's neither fierce or ugly but it's nice to welcome the boys from Loftus Road to our patch for the FA Cup.
The last time we faced The Hoops in the FA Cup was on 29, January, 1996.
We won the game 2-1 at their place and just looking at the names of the players on display that day reminds me just how high the quality of player has become at Chelsea.
By the way the goalscorers were Gavin Peacock and Paul Furlong.
The 11 players were:
Kevin Hitchcock, Dan Petrescu, Terry Phelan, Michael Duberry, Steve Clarke, David Lee, Eddie Newton, Ruud Gullit, Gavin Peacock, Paul Furlong and John Spencer.

Now be honest, how many of that side would, in their pomp, make it into our first team now?
Petrescu, certainly, Gullit, naturally. These two in my opinion would easily be at home in the current set-up.
But I think only those two.
Twelve years is a long time and I hope that in the next 12, Chelsea improve the quality of player so that when we face our west London neighbours again, none of the current side would make the side of the future.
Do you agree about only two of the 1996 side would be good enough to grace the current side?
