Adrian Mutu has signed for Italian giants Juventus.

The former Chelsea striker was sacked earlier this season after being found guilty of taking cocaine.

He is serving a world-wide seven month ban.

He will be able to play for them when the ban ends on May 18, 2005.

Chelsea signed the 26-year-old from another Italian club Parma in August 2003 for £15.3m.

But his playboy lifestyle took him over and on October 19, 2004, the Professional Footballers' Association revealed Mutu had failed a drugs test.

Chelsea took the no tolerance route and charged the forward with gross misconduct.
