Jody's contract is due to expire at the end of this season and while he has yet to be offered a new deal, both parties are confident a new deal can be finalised.
Talking to the London Evening Standard Jody said: "If the club offer me the right contract, I'll sign it.
"I've had the injuries and then the court case, but hopefully now I've turned it around a bit. The club have said they want me to stay, so hopefully something will be sorted out."
If Jody continues to show the type of commitment, determination and focus displayed thus far, there is no doubt in my mind that the club who nurtured and developed the diminutive midfielder, will continue to show faith in a player who can give so much.
