Without Drogba and Lampard missing Chelsea failed to overcome a very average Aston Villa tonight.
The 0-0 draw at Villa park keeps the Blues five points clear of Arsenal but Manchester City can get to two points of the champions if they beat Blackpool tomorrow.
The injury-hit Londoners will again be without Drogs and Lamps as they head off to Russia to face Spartak Moscow in the Champions league on Tuesday.
Drogba has a mystery fever while lampard struggles with an adductor muscle problem.
