After opening the season in impressive goalscoring form, Lampard has slowly trailed off since bagging his last in October, against Viking. Despite his lack of goals, Frank continues to be the rock in the heart of our midfield and you will be hard pressed to find many more consistent midfielders in the Premiership- note to Spurs fans, Gus Poyet is now past it- let alone consistent English midfielders!

Lamps said "I've been due a goal and hopefully that will come soon. If you're clever you can pick the right times to run with the ball or to make the move so someone can put you in.

"The more you move the ball about and open teams up, then the more spaces there are for you to run into."
