Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has stated that the club's extensive injury list is a consequence of their participation in the recent Club World Cup.
Ahead of today's match against Liverpool, Maresca confirmed he would be without "seven or eight" players, including key figures such as Cole Palmer and Wesley Fofana.
The manager expressed his belief in the young players who will be called upon to fill in for the sidelined regulars.
