Hiddink: I know my team for Barcelona

Guus Hiddink knows who he is going to play in Tuesday's crunch Champions League match against Barcelona in Spain. Admitting before hand that Jose Bosingwa is his only viable option to play left-back in the absence of suspended Ashley Cole, Hiddink played the Portugal international in that position against West Ham United. Now Luis Boa Morte is no Lional Messi and Bosingwa had an easy game. Quite what he will get in the Camp Nou is another thing. But Hiddink had seen enough of Bosingwa to replace him in the second half - job done and no injury. Hiddink confirmed that those players not in the squad for the 0-1 win would not feature in the semi-final first leg. He cited Ricardo Carvalho and Deco as the two who will stay in London. He failed to mention Alex, I assume that was just an error and the Brazillian defender will travel with the party. Hiddink will recall Michael Ballack and Michael Essien to the starting line-up - both featured as subs on Saturday. Hiddink's other decisions revolved around the right wing area, He may prefer to play Nicolas Anelka for Salomon Kalou and he needs to decide who to partner John Terry. Either Alex or Branislav Ivanovic will get the nod. If it's Alex, the Ivanovic may switch to right-back. What will concern Hiddink is Chelsea's inability to turn possession into goal-scoring chances. Against Everton and West Ham, The Blues looked poor and only had Kalou's poaching instinct to salvage three vital league points at Upton Park. Chelsea will be relieved that Petr Cech had a better game and the penalty save from Mark Noble will have given his confidence a massive boost. So, it's off to Spain now for the boys, and hopefully the best performance of the season for the Londoners. They are going to need it.
