Go see Torrevieja FC on Sunday...

If like many people, your better half has booked a two-week break in Spain during a crucial period in Chelsea's season, you will, like me, no doubt be fuming.
But every cloud has a silver lining. In my case I hope it'll be cloudless and sunny.
On Sunday, FC Torrevieja will be playing Alicante B out in the Coasta Blanca.
Kick off is 5pm.

Now Torry don't play Real Madrid or Barcelona (too often), their opposition are of the Pego, Utiel or Villajoyosa variety, but the football is usually played on the ground.
Torry are, like Chelsea doing well in their league and Sunday's match could see the boys move into the play-off places.
It's like a throwback to the good old days of watching football.
You can walk around the stadium, have a chat to other Brits and generally spend a really good couple of hours talking and watching football with like-minded souls.
If you are in the area, pop on over to the Stadium Vicente Garcia.
Don't forget, there are bars, bars and bars who will be showing the Blues take on Bolton, Arsenal and Liverpool. It's galling not to see the boys live but this is the next best thing.

I'll be there with my son, I hope to see you there too.
