Fergie ban is too much says Ancelotti

Carlo Ancelotti joined the manager’s union with his spirited defence of Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.

Ferguson was handed a five-match ban by the FA following his outburst at the referee after United lost 2-1 against Stamford Bridge earlier this month.

“In my opinion, Ferguson had good behaviour – five games are too much.

“It won’t change Manchester United too much.

“I know what he said after the game. But I don’t know what it will be like as I have never had to serve a ban and watch the game from the stand.

But I do know you get a better view of the game.”
